Public Statement Regarding My Experience With MikaRiverNya

I am sharing this statement to document my personal experiences with MikaRiverNya so that others can make informed decisions. This is not written out of spite, but out of concern regarding repeated patterns of behavior I witnessed and experienced directly.

Everything below reflects my firsthand experience and, where applicable, interactions that can be supported with documentation.

Who am i?

I am Reaper i have been an administrator for mika, doing all sorts of things for them. i mainly moderated their discord and twitch chat but also did alot of tech support for streams.

why i left.

Quality leaves something to be desired, sorry.

This is a clip from the stream i decided to leave. TLDR:

Someone asked Mika if they wanted to try out borderlands 4. I explained to them the technical reason Mika wont and she gave me Attitude for that for just explaining something.

that was the straw that broke the camels back for me wich made me decide to drop my interactions with them.

Patterns of behavior.

Pattern of Behavior

• Over time, I observed a consistent pattern that included:
• Public behavior that significantly differed from private conduct
• Dismissal of concerns when raised respectfully
• Shifting blame onto others when conflicts arose
• Attempts to control narratives within the community
• Retaliatory actions toward those who questioned or disagreed
• Manipulative tactics, both emotional and simply through lies

These were not isolated incidents. They occurred repeatedly over a sustained period.

Evidence

this includes DM screenshots from not just me but also others who have been mods for Mika.

lets start with this.

Here Mika calls another streamer JustHailey a debuff while months prior. they were very close. \

we cant forget about her complaining about how people spend their own money.
These are manipulative lies, to get people on her side and in all honesty it kinda worked for alot of em.

Worst of all.
it nearly made Hailey give up her own career she had built up painstakingly herself.

it hurts me to see how much pain and emotional distress this one thing alone had caused.

whenever any of the mods had issues with mika we would have to push Anthro her friend over the past 3 years to force them to talk to us and even then it usually would be delayed by a week to get things resolved.

but when it came to TheBigSkig another streamer and moderator for Mika they would lose their mind.

why? because skig did alot for mika content wise. they had value he would clip hundreds if not thousands of clips (an average of 20 per stream) of 'funny' moments that mika could use in edits and clips for tiktok and other platforms wich BTW were also edited by skig.

keep in mind its not that mika said one thing wrong but as i explained in my reason i left it is the condesending tone that is thrown towards anyone quite often.

Before i end my statements here.

Hyperbolic guilt-ridden statements to emotionally manipulate:

• "I'm suddenly..."
• "It's the end of the..."
• "I can't say one thing wrong"

Emotional manipulation:

• "I support you where you are having problems and try to make you happy"
• "just to make you happy"

Unwillingness to admit fault:

• "i apologize to you for a few things that, honestly, i didn't do anything wrong."

these are textbook examples at this point.

And i have more, but because of privacy of parties involved i decided not to share that at this point. i dont want to see people hurt or be put in situations that are unsafe for any reason the internet is wild sometimes.

while alot of these are not TO ME or WITH ME they hurt people close to me.
and if nobody speaks up nothing will change. these people are my friends and it hurts to see them be manipulated and hurt by those who do not deserve the love and graces they have been offered.

Impact.

These behaviors had real impact, including:

• Emotional distress
• Fear of speaking up
• Community division
• Loss of trust

I initially chose to remain silent. However, after observing similar treatment of others, I felt it was important to speak up.
