+# dependencies

+### make python VENV
+
+`python -m venv venv`
+
+### activate VENV

+`source venv/bin/activate`

+### install dependencies

+`pip install evdev websockets`
+
+### run the script (inside VENV)
+
+`python input.py`
+
+### Important note for wayland.
+
+make sure to change your input access rules.
+
+`sudo usermod -aG input $USER`
+
+then reboot for this to take effect.
+
+### Node backend dependencies
+
+`npm install`
