dependencies

make python VENV

python -m venv venv

activate VENV

source venv/bin/activate

install dependencies

pip install evdev websockets

run the script (inside VENV)

python input.py

Important note for wayland.

make sure to change your input access rules.

sudo usermod -aG input $USER

then reboot for this to take effect.
